About HC Concepts

HC Concepts was founded by Hugh Nolan (BSc. PMP) to provide cost effective IT development services to the Irish business community. Hugh has a wealth of experience in both technical and management roles delivering enterprise IT projects to some of Irelands top blue chip companies such as Vodafone, IBM, AIB, Bank of Ireland, Ulster Bank and Irish Life & Permanent.

Since 2003 this experience included the effective use of off-shore resources to deliver cost savings throughout the project lifecycle. Based on his understanding of what does and does not work in off-shore development, Hugh set up HC Concepts to offer customers the benefits of proven on-shore / off-shore delivery.

Our work includes both on-site consultancy and development as well as off-shore implementation and testing. For the off-shore elements we engage with Novatec New Technologies, a best of breed software development company based in Croatia. Over the years we have developed a very strong working relationship with Novatec establishing clear communication and support lines and moulding a flexible, powerful and proven delivery capability.

Given our common approach to meeting customer requirements for cost effectiveness, flexibility, on time delivery and quality (Novatec is ISO 9001:2008 certified), HC Concepts and Novatec have cemented our partnership with HC Concepts now acting as the on-shore face of Novatec in Ireland and the UK, and Novatec acting as our preferred supplier for IT implementation and testing services.
